On 11-23-2021 at approximately 04:22 am, the Screven County Sheriff’s Department responded to a structure fire at 1430 Old Poor Robin Road at the request of the Screven County Fire Department. The fire department had discovered a body inside the structure.

At the time of this press release, the body has not been identified. The case is still an open investigation with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, The State Fire Marshall’s Office, Screven County Sheriff’s Department, Screven County Fire Department, and Screven County Coroner’s Office.
