Sheriff Kile would like to remind the citizens of Screven County about the laws restricting ATVs and UTVs being operated on the roadways of this state. We have experienced a rise in complaints and accidents with injuries involving these vehicles being driven upon the roads in Screven County. Deputies will be contacting persons who violate these laws in an effort to make the roadways safe for all persons to use. Please refer to Chapter 6 of Title 40 of the Georgia Code for all current laws regulating the operation of vehicles on the roadways or contact the sheriff's office with any questions about these laws.
