On September 20, 2021 a Homicide occurred in Screven County.

Within hours of the Homicide, the Suspect was taken into custody. Screven County Deputies, Investigators worked along side of GBI and other agencies to apprehend the suspect.

A well coordinated effort by all law enforcement agencies involved.

  The individual is currently incarcerated in the Screven County Jail awaiting an Indictment by the Grand Jury.
